Mike was born to Jess and Frances Dixon in Centerville, Iowa.
He was truly one of a kind; with a brilliant mind filled with knowledge of history and science. He was our "own Siri".
He spent his lifetime on horseback, camping and avoiding the city!
He was a farmer for most of his years, but also a skilled pipe-fitter/welder until he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen; step-son, Michael, and step-daughters, Christel and Kelli.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Dawn, and son, Darin, his siblings: Walter, Max, Nancy, Enid, and Evie.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
