Pauline Cowden McDaniel went home to be with the Lord on June 16, 2024. Pauline was born to Velma and Charley Cowden in Colorado Springs, Colorado on April 14, 1929. She was 95 years old. She was the last of 10 siblings.
Pauline was involved in many different jobs throughout her lifetime. She worked as a teacher, a hospital clerk, and a dog sitter. She worked many years at Buckskin Joe in the candy store. She also worked many years at Domino’s Pizza making pizza and working around the store. She was responsible for the beautiful flowers there. She spent many hours at the Rouse park Concession stand. Pauline also spent much time volunteering, at Mountain View Core and Knowledge school she would help serve lunch to the students and helped with the flowers there as well. She loved to keep busy.
Pauline married Charlie James ”CJ” McDaniel on March 9, 1961. They had one son James Dean McDaniel and she called him her “pride and joy”.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charlie James “CJ” McDaniel. And her siblings, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
Pauline is survived by her son James (Cheri) McDaniel, Granddaughters, Erin (Paul) Johnson, Tracy (Brandon) Schmieding, Courtney McDaniel and Paige (Kevin Montero) McDaniel. One Great Granddaughter Annabel Schmieding. Many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be at 10 a.m. on July 13, 2024 at Mountain View Core and Knowledge School. 890 Fields, Canon City Colorado.
