Robert Lee Miller Jr., “Bob”, passed away unexpectedly October 23, 2023 at the home that he shared with the love of his life Bettycarole Tensen. Robert was born on November 14, 1947 in Pampa, TX. He graduated from Groom High School in Groom, TX. After graduating, he served 8 years in the US Army during the Vietnam era, serving in Germany and Japan. Upon leaving the service he lived in WY, MS, and finally settled in CO. He was an entrepreneur and inventor, holding multiple patents. He invented a water recycling system and most recently was owner of Tasrop, Inc. in Florence. In his retirement he enjoyed helping his friend Mark in his furniture refinishing shop. Bob was an active man, always on the go, tinkering with his tools, gardening, canning, fixing things. He loved to go fishing, shooting, and for drives in the mountains. Bob always jumped at the opportunity to help family and friends. Bob is survived by his sweetheart of 25 years, Betty Tensen; his sisters Melody Mazzaro and Fran Boudreaux and their families; children Scott, Robert, and Shannon Miller, and their children; bonus children Michele (Bill) Hinsey, Tracey Tensen, and Christopher (Anne) Tensen and their children and grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert, Sr. and Violet, and a brother, Lawrence Miller.
Family and close friends had a private celebration of Robert's life on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Thanks to Harwood Funeral Home for assisting with final arrangements.
