Samantha D Prewitt

Beloved wife, mother, and Grandmother Samantha D. Prewitt 47 of Canon City, CO. Formerly of Clanton, AL. passed away February 8, 2022. She had been in poor health for 13 years.

Samantha was a very sweet lady who prior to becoming sick, loved to take long walks, going to the movies, and concerts. In her later years, she still loved to travel, dining out, getting dressed up, listening to music, in particular, anything by Tim McGraw. Last but not least, she loved to just be around her husband, kids, and especially her grandbabies which were her whole world. She turned her life over to Jesus, shortly before passing.

She was preceded in death by her father; Richard “Leon” Davenport, and brother; Randy Davenport, both of Jemison, AL.  She is survived by her husband; Leonard E. Prewitt, son; Dallas (Alexis Rodriguez) Prewitt, Daughter; Autumn Cheyenne (Cody Foley) Prewitt, son; Dakota Watson Prewitt. All of Canon City. Mother; Etta (Leon) Davenport, sister; Charlotte (Jeff) Hayes, sister; Mary (Lee) Johnson, brother; Ronnie (Renee Ramirez) Davenport, brother; Matthew Davenport. All of Jemison, AL. She is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews in Alabama, and Michigan.
