Scott William Gilbert

Scott William Gilbert went to be with the Lord October 4, 2024 at his home in Canon City, CO. Scott was born November 17,1962 in Altoona, PA to Derwin Dewoid Gilbert Jr. and Delores Mae Gilbert (deceased). Scott is survived by his wife Theresa, step-son Josiah and his brothers Michael and Jack and sister Patricia. He had a wonderful childhood, growing up in a small town with many friends and lots of cousins. He got into mischief with his older brother. Scott worked at Pizza Hut in high school. Scott enlisted in the Air Force to serve his country and was given a Honorable Discharge April 1982. He returned to his home in Altoona, PA and returned to work again at Pizza Hut. Scott met the love of his life, Theresa in 2008. He moved to Colorado where they were married and made their home together. Scott was soft spoken and caring, kind and loving, Scott helped raise Josiah as his own. Josiah has always known him as Dad. Scott was a friend to many as he worked at City Market for the past 15 or so years, showing kindness to customers and co-workers alike. Faith in God was important to Scott. Church attendance with family and friends was a very high priority as well as working to do what you know is right. Last words he would say to you was always... Luv Ya!
