Travis Lloyd Howdeshell, 28, was called home to heaven on January 30, 2021. He was born on April 13th, 1992 to Louis, and Dawn (Walker) Howdeshell in Canon City, but was raised in the beautiful mountain town of Silver Cliffe, Colorado. He graduated from Custer County High School with the class of 2011. Travis loved playing baseball, and football, and was very involved with the Snowcats program during his tenure there. Travis also loved playing his saxophone, and all kinds of music especially the band Disturbed.
Travis loved being with his family and friends, especially his nephew Antonio, and was very excited for the arrival of his newest niece or nephew. Travis never met a stranger and would take anyone under his wing, and always had a shoulder and drink for anyone in need.
Travis loved being in the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, hiking, and off roading with his friends.
Travis is predeceased by his great grandparents Antonio and Liboria Cerami, and Joseph and Bertha Walker, and Grandmother Judy Leonard.
Travis is survived by his parents Louis and Dawn Howdeshell, sister Tia (Weston Gandy), nephew Antonio Howdeshell, brother Tyler, Grandparents JoAnn Walker, William (Sue) Walker, Lloyd and Janet Howdeshell, Aunts MaryAnn (Tim) O’Dell, Kelly (Cody) Reisch, Saundra Baca, and uncles William Walker Jr., Jason (Chantelle) Walker. He had many cousins, and countless friends.
A memorial service for Travis will be held Saturday February 13th at 1:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church 410 S. 6th St. Westcliffe, Colorado 81252.
