Troy Templeton

Troy Eldon Templeton, age 76 of Sargents, Colorado left this world to eternally hunt and fish on June 23, 2023.

Troy was born May 16, 1947, to Virginia (Howland) and Troy A. Templeton in Canon City, Colorado.

Troy was a carpenter belonging to the Carpenter’s Union 555, a volunteer firefighter/ EMT for the Penrose Volunteer Fire Department, Basketball Coach for his children, Manager for Beaver Park Water Company, and Owner of the Brass Horse Restaurant and Bar, in Penrose before retiring and returning to Sargents.

Troy was proceeded in death by his parents Virginia and Troy Templeton, stepmom Mae Belle (Jones) Templeton of Sargents, his half-sister Regina Masten of Goodland, Kansas, and his stepson Kelly McDermott of Penrose.

Troy is survived by his sister Christine Jordon, brother Tim Templeton, step- brother’s Joe Gindro and Jim Gindro. His daughter Tina Templeton, son Archie Templeton, stepdaughter Hope Griffin, long-time companion Paula Walker, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends.
