Vicki Venita Sandmeier, a devoted wife, loving mother, and friend to many, passed away at home on May 17, 2025, in Penrose, Colorado, at the age of 63.
Born on January 30, 1962, in Loup City, Nebraska, Vicki lived a life filled with warmth, compassion, and an unwavering love for her family and community. She is survived by her beloved husband, Todd Sandmeier; her daughters, Krista Halevy and Deena Sandmeier; her grandchildren, Caleb Halevy, Alexander Halevy, and Paige Mauro; her sister, Cindy Vigil; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Vicki had a gift for connecting with others. She loved children, cherished her plants, found joy in hummingbirds, and had a natural talent for bringing people together. A hard worker through and through, she led by example, showing strength, kindness, and grace in everything she did.
Her family honors her memory and strength as she faced Alzheimer’s with courage and dignity. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in her name.
Celebration of Life will be held 11:00AM, Monday, June 9, 2025 at Kirkwood Memorial Presbyterian Church in Penrose, Colorado.
Vicki's spirit lives on in the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
