Victor Trujillo Obituary

It is with heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved Victor Trujillo.

Victor was born in Walsenburg, Colorado, on February 15, 1939, to August & Eufelia Trujillo. He graduated from Florence High School, and his dedication to his country led him to serve in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962. He worked for Cotters before becoming a union cement mason, a role he held for 40 years.

Victor felt really happy when he hung out with his family at get-togethers. These moments reminded him of their close bonds and filled him with love. He cherished those moments spent fishing with his son, family, and friends. His trips to Cripple Creek, his passion for bowling, and his excitement for sports—especially cheering on the Denver Broncos brought him so much happiness. These weren’t just hobbies for him; they were the vibrant expressions of his love for life. And let’s not forget Victor's amazing secret recipe for his delicious salsa and salad that always brought smiles to everyone’s faces!

Victor leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished relationships, survived by his devoted wife, Alvina, with whom he shared an incredible journey of 55 years filled with joy, laughter, and unwavering support. Their bond was an inspiring example of partnership and devotion. He leaves behind his cherished daughter, Lisa, and his treasured son, Larry, and his wife, Chariese, along with their children, Aubrey and Heaven; his beloved daughter, Valerie; and his special son-in-law, Bob, who was like a son to him. Victor treasured his grandchildren, Dominic, Brandon (Kailee), and AnaLyse, as well as his amazing great-grandchildren, Dean and Mia. He had a deep affection for his beloved sister, Joyce, and felt honored to have many special nieces and nephews in his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Joe, and sisters Beatrice, Cora, Stella, Angelina, and Jeannie.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to the wonderful staff at Hildebrand Care Center for the compassionate care you provided to Victor. To the residents, he was blessed by your loving friendship.

Those who had the privilege of knowing him will forever hold dear the love and cherished memories he gifted us.
