Genuine expressions of sympathy are difficult to generate. May it be comforting to know that when one experiences loss of love ones, their friends hurt too. I have such wonderful memories of Jean - - one - - the piano duets that we used to play. Jean was responsible for beginning dances at parties. One at Jean's house lasted until 2 a.m. One event shall never escape my thoughts - - Jean's award of a "Superior" for one of her piano presentations at a contest. I am glad to have been privileged to have known such a good friend as Jean. bjb

Jean was one of the most loving and gifted people we've ever met. She put her all into everything she did, especially her music. Her Bob passed away before I met my Bob so they never got to meet. He knew I was closer to them than I had ever been to my own parents, though, so he asked Jean's permission to marry me. She graciously granted it. We will miss her greatly, but we rejoice that she is in heaven with our Lord and Savior and has been reunited with her Bob. We love you, Jean!

I wanted to tell you and Scott that we will be there in SPIRIT on Saturday ..(we live in Henderson,NE) and that the weather is not good here with 12" of snow and a closed I-80.. I used to have your e-mail.. my address should be in Mom's book. we have spent many a day down at Florence w/ Jean and Bob. were there last yr. as we have a daughter (Sherri) and Rob at Fort Carson. Will you keep her sweet doggie? she was frail but so happy when we were there last and loved talking "Army" with my kids. .. May Jean rest safe in the arms of JESUS and play for the Heavenly Chorus!! I am sad for me and you, but Happy for the Promise that we will SEE her again in Heaven . God Bless you all and give Doris and Artie my best also. Jeannie loved you 2 so so much !! You were the JOY of their lives . I love you. Nancy and all the Waco church family.

I will always remember and be thankful how Bob and Jean accepted my daughter Margaret Coyle into their lives as daughter-in-law.......as Scotts wife, she became a treasured precious daughter. That was a true expression of their life LOVE. There is great rejoicing in Heaven as Jean hears her Lord Jesus Christ say "well done Good and Faithful Servant". She will be greatly missed...
