My heartfelt sadness at your loss. Larry was an architect colleague and former employee when he lived and worked in Longmont, CO. He was a cheerful, hard worker and intelligent person. i remember his smile just like the picture on this page. We kept in touch through LinkedIn and talked about getting together sometime.

I will miss him greatly and share in your sorrow.

Dawn, David, Taelor and Preston- our most sincere condolences on the loss of your father and late husband. Please know that we are here for you all, if you need anything during this very difficult time. We love you all so much--like family. I have found that you watch for those little signs that our loved ones send us...they're always with us. You're Dad loved you and you know he was SO proud! Both Taelor and Preston graduating, moving onto to college, he will always be with you. We love you.
I found this beautiful poem and Scott immediately came to mind. Hope it brings you peace.
"Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything has remained exactly as it was. I am I, you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way in which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it. Life means that all it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as if was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!"
