Born, Margaret Helen Bennett, to Arthur Lee & Minnie Helen Bennett on Oct 21,1935 In Picher, Ok. She was the third child all girls. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan.13,2018.
Margaret lost her father to double pneumonia at the age of six months. Her mother later remarried and she and her sisters were adopted by Oly Olsen, who was a good father. She lived in Picher until her marriage to Donald Lee Speck. Margaret gave birth to 7 children.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, both of her sisters, Four of her children Joan, Don Jr, Ruth & Rachel. She is survived by her beloved husband Don, children, Raylene Lawhead & husband Michael of Canon City, Co., Charles Speck of Coffeyville, Ks., Rebecca Clement & husband Kevin of Wichita,Ks. 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, 2 sister-in-laws, 1 brother-in-law, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life to be held at the Bridge to Life Church, 222 Orchard, Canon City, Co 81212, at 10 AM, on January 27th, 2018. Arrangements entrusted to Harwood Funeral Home.
